Empowered Creativity: The Theme for my Online Courses
Registration is officially open!! I couldn’t be happier to share my new course offerings with the Artful and Educational community. Learning about art has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and I can’t wait to share that excitement with my new and returning students!
The theme for my online courses is ‘Empowered Creativity.’ I know that making art isn’t always easy, and requires a great deal of effort and care. That is why I am setting out to make sure that every decision I make in these courses is guided by the idea of helping students feel power in pursuing their creative development. Taking time for your art can be a wonderful way for all of us—-children and adults alike—-to honor our interests and pursue what is exciting to us. My goal is to draw upon my experience as an artist to help you or your child realize creative ideas in a fun and engaging way. I remember what my teachers meant to me during my high school, BFA and MFA studies—-they encouraged me and pushed me to always try my best, and I will always be grateful. I can’t wait to continue the beautiful tradition of teaching Art to curious students like you!
