Children Ages 5-9 (Online and in person)

I offer Art enrichment activities to children in a one-to-one setting, in pairs, or in small groups. Activities focus on experimentation, exploring each child’s individual interests, and enjoying the art-making process. Sibling Discounts are available.

Pre-Teens and Teens (Online and in person)

I offer the following courses to students Age 10 and over. Students may attend in pairs, or on their own.

  • Observational Drawing - Learn how to draw the world around you as you experiment with mark-making and learn about the origins and history of drawing.

  • Design Fundamentals - Delve into the basics of two-dimensional design theory and create original, abstract compositions using acrylic paint, pencils, and markers. Learn the mechanics of design, and it will inform your future work in any two-dimensional media including painting, drawing, photography, graphic design and printmaking.

  • Portfolio Preparation - For middle schoolers applying to high school art programs, or high schoolers applying to college art programs, a strong and inventive portfolio is key. I will work with you to develop your strengths and showcase your voice as we work through the portfolio preparation process together.

  • Artful History - Enjoy an interactive and studio-based entry into key movements and figures in Art History, while exploring related art-making techniques.
